Residue-free, even for complex applications

Removing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the air without leaving any residue is an extremely complex form of exhaust air purification. For example, in industrial finishing, coating and printing processes. Our regenerative incineration systems are made precisely for this purpose. This is precisely why they have established themselves worldwide as the state of the art - whether in medium-sized companies, global corporations or well-known OEMs. And there is a reason for this: impeccable quality.

Variable in design, versatile in use - especially in terms of space requirements

Regenerative combustion systems from Venjakob Umwelttechnik are available in different designs - upright or horizontal. Upright - this is the classic version. Horizontal - this is your Venjakob variant if you need a solution with a significantly reduced overall height. And if you are looking for an even smaller solution for smaller air volumes, we offer compact systems that we will be happy to pre-assemble for you at the factory ("plug and play"). And for high concentrations of pollutants, a version with separate heat exchanger chambers is also available. In short: we offer you a large selection for a wide range of requirements.

Nice and hot and very regenerative - the processes

The operating principle of regenerative combustion systems is based on the polluted exhaust air being passed alternately through three chambers equipped with ceramic heat storage elements. Over 800°C heat the polluted air in the inlet chamber to almost the required oxidation temperature. This means that the support burner in the combustion chamber located centrally above the chambers requires very little additional fuel. In many cases, the energy content of the air pollutants to be cleaned is even sufficient to enable autothermal operation without any additional fuel. The purified exhaust air then flows through the outlet chamber and transfers most of the heat to the ceramic heat storage elements.

Enormously versatile - the areas of application

Continuously developed and optimised, regenerative combustion can now be used to clean solvent- or odour-contaminated exhaust air in most processes.

Typical applications

  1. Coating
  2. Paint production
  3. Packaging printing
  4. Web offset printing
  5. Production of friction linings
  6. Chemical industry
  7. Pharmaceutical industry
  8. Biogas processing
  9. Production of lubricants
  10. Coating of laminate papers etc.
  11. Production of solar models
  12. Odour control in the food and beverage industry
  13. Production of flavours

Less primary energy, lower emissions - the advantages

Our regenerative combustion systems are characterised by a low primary energy requirement. This in turn minimises your CO2 emissions. And to save gas in non-autothermal operation, we are happy to integrate flameless gas injection for you.in general, we offer you many optional equipment details with which the systems can be customised to your requirements

  • Burnout
  • Material selection for acid-forming and moist vapours
  • Hot gas ejection for over-autothermal operation
  • Use of customised ceramic heat storage elements or combination of different elements in one system

For larger air volumes, Venjakob Umwelttechnik offers the option of a 5-chamber system. This also allows larger exhaust air flows to be cleaned in a compact system.

We are happy to advise you

We develop solutions that optimise processes and improve results - reliably, efficiently and precisely tailored to your system. We will be happy to advise you personally on customised solutions for your regenerative combustion system.
